"compile error" problem occurs during vst export help please
-
@armutadam I don't think it's related to the SDK, you don't need to download anything from Steinberg, all you need is included with the HISE source.
Did you try using the develop branch of HISE?
-
I have no idea what develop brunch is and how to do it, I am an ordinary user.

@d-healey
I'm still dealing with the same problem. Even though I did it with develop brunch -
@armutadam How many copies of the HISE source code do you have on your system? Do you see an option at the top of the export menu to check if you system is setup for compiling?
-
@d-healey
There is setup export wizard there and I installed it. and there are many components related to hise in the c: folder -
How many copies of the HISE source code (the folder from github) do you have?
-
@d-healey only hise devolope and hise develope.zip
-
@armutadam Did you update the path in project preferences to point to HISE develop?
-
@d-healey yes
-
@armutadam It could be because you have it on OneDrive rather than a local folder, try placing it on your desktop.
-
@d-healey
All I want is to run "the power" synthesizer from the "regular show" cartoon series. please help -
Do you see any error messages in the HISE Console when you go to export? You'll need to open the script editor to show the console.
-
-
@armutadam Why is background.png 0kb?
Do you see any other errors in the console? You'll need to scroll up and see if there is anything there.
Have you tried moving the HISE source code to your Desktop instead of OneDrive?
-
@d-healey Because on new PCs with Win 12 installed, the desktop is in OneDrive.
-
@armutadam Move it to some local folder that isn't on one drive
