Mix Knob
-
Hello friends, I have another question. I have 2 audio loop players, one of which has effects, the other has no effects. Like dry and wet. I would now like to create a mix knob that will fade the two loopers together with a reasonable amount. Can anyone help me?

@meto396 Add a simple gain module to each loop player. Add a knob on your UI and set it to control the Gain parameter of each effect - but invert one of them so it fades out as the other fades in. You can also do this with gain modulators instead of an effect.
I show how to do it with CC modulators (using mod wheel) in this video - https://youtu.be/0cn1l8231n4?t=962

@d-healey When the Mix is at 50% both Loop players at -50db and its very quiet. I want it to stay at one volume
-
@meto396 If you use the modulation method you can adjust the tables to create an equal power curve
-
@d-healey I'll check that now thank you

@d-healey I tried it but I don't get it like I want it
-
@meto396 Tell me more

@d-healey I did it similarly to your video when I turned it up and down it was much too quiet at 50%. I had something similar in contact once, at 50% both were at -6dB

@meto396 Here's a simple example using two sinewave generators and MIDI controller modulators. I've added a script to handle the crossfade and connected this up to a knob on the UI.

@d-healey ok now I found the problem my Knob was set to percent 0-100% and not to Linear 0-127 the value of the default knob only went up to 1. thank you
