This category aims to lower the burden for contributing to the snippet database. For power users it might be better to request write access and directly push to the repository or do pull requests, but if you don't want to go through the hassle of doing that, this is the place for you.

1. Create your snippet using the snippet browser. Fill in all your details, then click on export to save the file.
2. In addition to saving the file, the snippet browser will also paste a blob of markdown to the clipboard that is ready to be pasted in here. For example, this is a simple sine wave generator snippet:

A simple sine wave generator

If this doesn't work, update HISE to the latest develop branch, I've added this recently to the snippet browser save function.

3. Create a topic in this directory with the name of the snippet (or any other name, the name is in the blob)
4. We'll revise the snippet - if there are trivial changes we'll do them ourselves, otherwise we'll spin up a discussion. Once your precious snippet has passed this procedure, we'll add it to the repository and delete the forum topic to keep it lean (or not, depending on how much valuable information is in the discussion).
