Pitch Slider settings?

I have these settings for a pitch slider linked to Intensity in a Constant modulator under Pitch Modulation in a Sampler.

It's jumping straight to -12 and +12 when the slider is just at 1 or -1. Any idea what I've missed?

I'm not sure why but for this to work you have to set the intensity via scripting from the knob's callback.

Constant1.setIntensity(value);
