      Morning everyone,

I have come to the conclusion that I am going to need to install Faust to get the most out of my builds and also expand the range of functions/features that I can integrate.

I am not really sure where to start with it though. Are there any tips, pointers, tutorials, videos etc that will help me out in both installing Faust and then getting it integrated with Hise?

      Thanks in advance

@rzrsharpeprod Have you not searched the forum? Pretty sure this is very well documented on here...

@rzrsharpeprod - its actually quite a bit easier to install these days than this pointer suggests, just

download and install faust in the default location
recompile HISE for the Hise with Faust option
make sure you have the Faust Path set up correctly in your project preferences.

-- I think thats it as far as I recall anyone see anything I missed?

Maybe I am just a muppet when it comes to forum searches but when I search for Faust, install faust etc I get tons of results most of which are seemingly unrelated topics. I was just asking for general advice and/or a link to a helpful thread if there was one...which it looks like there is given your 2nd post. Cheers

@Lindon thankyou, I will go through that thread and follow your instructions.
It sounds simple enough. I'll give it a go over the weekend

                Cheers

@rzrsharpeprod yep the search is awful. It was on like the 6th page of results.

Someone suggested a way of searching with google which was much more efficient but can't remember who it was. @hisefilo perhaps?

Yeah I never seem to have much joy with the search but others clearly do as they can find exact topics with ease.

Thankyou for sharing the link though - it should prove useful.
