Is it posible to invert the value of a filter envelope?
-
Hi,
I'm trying to add a knob that controls the Filter-Envelope-Amount in a -1 to +1 kind of way. In other words, able to produce an inverted envelope output value.
Is it posible?
how can I script this in?thanks.
-
@RastaChess
value * -1
-
@RastaChess Yes that seemed like the obvious choice. I'm such rookie that I don't know how to feed it to the filter frequency without some serious timer voodoo and dummy envelope.
This doesn't seem to work either.```
local bipolarFRQ = (FLT_Envelope1.getCurrentLevel()*FLT_ENV_AMT.getValue());
-
@RastaChess Oh I see...
Here you can find two methods. First knob is scripted, second is directly connect through the property editor.
Though it's better to learn the script way ;)HiseSnippet 1373.3oc6X0saaTDEdV6LgFGnh.oBtBsJhKbfhqsaH.BUU23DWrHNwJNzhDWzNY2w1ixtyrr6rAhPUpOVbG4Bd.3QfGAtgqgyr+3c1zsNtoIk.TewJOm4bl4aN624mY66KrnAABejwB6erGEY7l3AGykiaOlv3ntahLtNtGIPR8MiEswwdjf.pMxvn78UBLVXNTzu+3taPbHbKZlHD5ABlEcalKSlIsequl43zgXS2m4po8Zs5ZI3sENhP.Okw0QdDqCIin6PTpUBiLleKalT3OPRjz.jwbaHrOdvXwOvi0+Ar.1ANT0fFnAvBEKtivwVgX0+QsGybr6mdtCPHCb+LuP4Xuvx3dLa1D4Ydi2NZByLKz8GFkxCux4fWimG7J.RFZPZtXHsDdfkOySlMiBOKh6xgWNCIfaWGJw5hJ8qF31BPCtrlK4PZGeXvDKptd852zDdr5WVoREv2GHMOh3atcmc6IrCcHvYog4cLiXD0FQkSjVcEPGyLkVQsBLtCiSMGFxsjLA2DVuHTPsUPvW3T0R35I3.XtIrONgzUq7SUVH2tUKfFgOd.Sdb0HkL+HyFMqAXz7V2B9mY.EXSvpDTqVsJOA12zCH.v1oaP0UR26UVUslIHnMww4.fTU8YvFb.z.9NBIcWd0H7U4IULO8TCGV3bIqkC0uvoUzc+oYXUdn6ATecuiRQfCjmXM+rQrrhcLZJJ3c4L4tdzjwYQFMJfFhR7r.grTBBAUkQzwqmPGG3vro9HlshKBaHmZANUTzAPOQ.ZFVfJ3zWJEX+2zcShjnhMRPEfTOpujobHFaROBRzDGor.dSZvgRgWDrSHDHi2Xl.9ONYSebPqimL3jCZ4lKY2u3k5n5ZqRKjKdnIj4xGRZAwYcsSCRinzJ+vDDgmEOQFfdJYp.B8r4LfrUoPROElJucxD.8KWdiLfpkW+z40l64S+pWXZ2BIWyHbWB2mIsFWLdKU.dUr0KY7lTk3svaMbHPax.6b3Ne6TKIbgCkaDCkEwOjbDMJQcDPtQz3gBeWy6S4T+njqSo38uMqEu8l4h26ZIAHruOgG3IBnMz4pmZtl565lTYHeh5O9m+fEOIVTpVO8NUVpk530ANdZK60lHrotv9DdC80GFma+5wxBwP+9c2hSfWHCnvowd2.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.9mhso44vlaeNrYsygMe54vl0OG17YmCa97oZi5Rr2KDJJEy+AA82JtbjwjZgFkQ+MHr4ChJ

@RastaChess thank you. I am learning a lot thanks to the mates in this forum.
The problem is that it needs to work on a AHDSR Envelope to affect the filter frequency. Envelops don't have the bipolar option like the LFOs do. Except for the global modulator one, and I can't get that one to do anything.This is where I am at more or less.
const var Filter1 = Synth.getEffect("Filter1"); const var AHDSREnvelope1 = Synth.getModulator("AHDSR Envelope1"); inline function onscriptedControl(component, value) { Filter1.setAttribute(1, AHDSREnvelope1.getCurrentLevel()*value); }; Content.getComponent("scripted").setControlCallback(onscriptedControl);
Is it possible to make it work on something like the snippet below?
Thank you again.

@RastaChess this will work but you'll get a peak at the beginning of the attack, maybe it's possible to fix that, you can play around with it and see...
I had to get the envelope level from another envelope attached from a "silent synth", and it had to be read while holding a key down so there is a timer that starts and stops when pressing a key.

Maybe it will become a feature in the future. Just as an attribute of the hardcoded envelope. Like the LFOs.
