Image Overlay = can no longer interact with layer below

I placed a PNG with a vignette above my preset display.
How can i enable the interaction thru the layer?
"allowCallbacks" jumps back to zero after selecting from dropdown aswell.

@Straticah Solved it for now // disable the layer in object properties, keep it visible // move it to root // put it back to the needed position.

seems just changing the setting does not work immediately. -moving it in layers seems to fix that
