What's wrong with my hise?

First time installing this.. I tried building it as suggested

But it looks weird and stuff is missing...

I followed the steps (correctly I think)

All of the icons are missing for some reason?

Which branch did you build? Which OS?

@d-healey I'm on a Mac (Big Sur)

When I try to build it using Xcode there's an error

Yeah it won't build on Big Sur at the moment (at least I haven't been able to get it to).

But in your original post you've already built it, how did you do that?

Hise still opens up despite the errors I am getting which is weird, but there aren't any icons so sadly I have no clue what anything does

I had it installed though for over a year (without building hise)

Maybe I was just opening the old version I downloaded from a while ago

Click the HISE icon and it will tell you when it was built. But yes you're almost certainly opening an old version.

That error is related to IPP, if you don't need IPP then just disable it in Projucer.

I deleted the old version now!

I also disabled "USE_IPP" but the error is still there :(

Other errors I am getting now. Think I'll have to delete it all and try again! haha

You also need to set USE_IPP=0 in the Exporters section. And clean the build directory before rebuilding. I doubt it will work on Big Sur though (what version of XCode are you using?)
