Routing Samplers
-
Hi, how can I route each sampler to a different channel? I want that when I start the Vst, I can separate it into individual channels. Thanks
-
@Felipe-Flores Each sampler and container has a routing matrix, you open it by clicking the button that looks like this
Using that you can route the sampler's output channels.
-
@d-healey Hi, could you check my Snippet? It's just an example of how my project looks like. What I want to route are the ones called "CH 1", "CH 2", etc. I tried, but when compiling, it doesn't sound.

First Select How Many Channels you want From the Top:
Right-click >>> Got To Change Channel Amount And Select the one That Fits Your Needs. ( No Worries You Can Always Go back And Add more)
Then go To Each sampler, And Routhe That Sampler To One Of The 1/2 3/4 5/6 Channels. Make Sure You Always Connected Them As Stereo.
And Your Last Sampler
And Go Back And Routhe All Channels To Your Master Output
1/2 3/4 5/6 All to 1/2
And Yeah, That's All

@Natan Thanks, I could understand that, but I would like to separate in channels the ones with the names CH 1, CH 2 that are inside the containers. I know how to route that way, but I don't know how to route the samplers inside the containers and then separate them in my DAW. Let me know if I was clear, if not, I can show you a very light version of my original project.

You Want To Do The Same Thing As Maize Samplers Stereo Output?
To Make A Drum Or Something like That, And Mix ( Routh ) Each Channel Separately?Right?

@Natan Yes, but I need to separate the samplers that are inside the containers. Specifically the ones I chose as CH1, CH2.... In this snippet I show you another example like the one you tell me.

@DimitrisSP Hi bro, thanks for replying and helping me, I will compile to test. I will let you know
-
@DimitrisSP After compiling it, I started it in Reaper, applied Multiout, but everything sounds on channel 1+2. I think it should sound on all channels. Am I doing something wrong? or maybe there is something wrong configured in my HISE?
-
@Felipe-Flores You must compile it inside your DAW using the plugin version of hise...after that it will be ok...The other way (and best way in my opinion) is to create outputs in your interface and write some code in order to achieve this
Take your time and watch this great tutorial from @d-healey ...
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hupRHp_D8yc&t=119s -
@DimitrisSP said in Routing Samplers:

It doesn't make a difference if you compile from the standalone or the plugin. When you export from HISE it compiles using the compiler on your OS (Visual Studio on Windows, XCode on MacOS, GCC on GNU/Linux).
-
@DimitrisSP Thanks I just watched the video, but I still don't understand how to assign 16 or 32 Outputs to HISE, I only have 1/2.
-
@d-healey How do I assign 16 or 32 Outputs to the Hise Output?
-
Right click in the black area and select the number of channels you want.
-
@d-healey In doing so, it only allows me to assign the Outpus in the MasterChain, but not in HISE Output
-
HISE_NUM_PLUGIN_CHANNELS is what you need - https://forum.hise.audio/topic/566/hise-multiple-outputs
