Constant crashes

In the last 35 years I have never had a programm that crashes as often as HISE.
HISE crashes at the slightest change of a number and subsequent compile.
Every error leads to a crash instead of a message in the console.
No matter which version on Scriptnode, Master or Develop.Am I the only one?
Mac 10.14.6
Xcode 10.3I'm on macOS 10.15.7 and also experience the occasional crash... But I'm on the develop branch at the moment, so... I try to be clever with source code, coding, not making stupid things, etc. but I do get a feeling that windows might have a little edge here?!

@UrsBollhalder
HISE source code or HISE app???
Really it should be both because, for example, trying to compile a plugin developed in a master branch executable using the source code of the develop branch would likely cause problems.

Sure... I normally re-compile when switching branches... Sometimes I quickly use the HISE master to check something but still being in the develop branch... so... but you say best would be one branch at a time, one HISE version at a time? What about copies of the same HISE app? To check code, etc.
-
@UrsBollhalder One branch, one executable.
To check code, etc.
What do you mean?
-
@d-healey Loading snippets, loading scripts and test-instruments I made earlier to put into my current project... so I can have 2 HISE apps open at the same time....
-
@UrsBollhalder You can open multiple instances of HISE with a single executable.
-
@d-healey On macOS?
-
@UrsBollhalder I don't know, but if you can't then get a better OS :p
How to open multiple instances of an application in OS X
By default the Mac OS supports running one instance of a program at a time in a specific user account; however, if more than one instance of a program is needed, then you can have the system launch it.

@UrsBollhalder I also used one copy of a branch at a time to load and view snippets while my
original is open.I don't have 6 different HISE versions but only 3 at the moment but each 2 times.
Once to work with and
once as a test for snippets and scripts -

You Mean Windows?
-
I think we are all talking past each other here - aren't we?
-
-
@d-healey Still on the fence about Linux. I figured that I'm already in enough trouble as it is at the moment... bleeding eyeballs, dreaming javascript and the occasional paint routine tattoo ideas...
-
-
@Natan I understand, Windows needs saving :)
