@Tania-Ghosh You don't need to tweak source code for this.... If you customize Look & feel e.g

const var laf = Engine.createGlobalScriptLookAndFeel();

laf.registerFunction("drawPopupMenuBackground", function(g, obj)
{
    g.fillAll(0xFF222222);

});

It will override the default one.

Comment out line 556 and then 614 and 615 as well
