I think it's a bug! At least, when I export a VST instrument everything works, but when it's an effect, it can not be used.

Here is a photo to better understand.

Is it a bug or I'm doing some things wrong?

Hmm, can't say yet, it could be your DAW (I didn't test Studio One yet).

I'll setup a hello world FX example project in the Tutorial repository then you can check if this works.

You were right. This should be fixed by now with this commit:

Also related to this forum post, which is also solved now:

Alright, I've checked it and it is indeed disabled because it is overlayed by some error message, but the window is too small to actually show what's wrong :...

And I have uploaded a simple demo project to the tutorial repository. It's just a SimpleReverb with two controls and two user presets:

Thanks for reporting this, now you should be ready to build FX plugins :)

              Hello,

In fact, the '' GUI '' is no longer blackened but there is always an error, overload asio if I'm not mistaken (I could make a video to show). Basically, the audio is cut and my meter displays its meter in the red, as if it clipped (I do not know how one says in English ... dsl).

At least I can now your GUI!

I wanted to know about your tutorial ... Do I have to load as if it were one of my projects?

When I open the folder, there is no preset and no .hip file!

              Thanks again for the support!

I still do not find how to run your examples though.
