My keyboard is not working on Hise

I’ve tried several times to connect my midi keyboard to my Mac but Hise is not seeing any midi movement. However, when I play the keyboard on screen using my mouse, I can hear the sound.

Can someone kindly help me please?

I’m new to HISE. (Just done watching the ADC video by Christoph Hart) I don’t know how to code but I’ve started today.

Open HISE preferences (from the file menu), scroll right down to the bottom and make sure there is a check mark next to your keyboard.

Have you selected your keyboard in the MIDI preferences? File/Preferences/Audio & Midi

Head to the File/Preferences/Audio & Midi as @ustk suggested.
You should see your midi keyboard with a checkbox to the left of it, if it is connected correctly.
