Advice on GUI copyright

Hello, I'm making a "Pultec-style" eq, and I would like to follow the classic gui format for this kind of eq. Do you think I could violate any copyright? In that case, I would need to completely change the interface...! I attach my temporary gui.

I think you're fine as long as your not passing it off as a pultec product.

@d-healey Ok, that's my idea, to pass it like an eq inspired by a famous piece of gear, without mentioning the original brand.

a quick Trademark search shows that Pulse Techniques own the rights to the Pultec logo, so you can't use that.

• Pungtec

@Natanr Not necessarily. It depends on the country but here in the UK if your design could easily be confused for another company's brand you could be accused of passing off.
