good idea?

hello, i just had an idea which i think has never been done too much on a vst.
we all know that not all vst users are musician.
my idea would be to redo as done the komplete kontrol from native instrument. basically,
if I want to make an Am chord, the keyboard only works on the keys corresponding to this chord.
Am = A C E ...
CM = C E G

do you want the thing? that might be helpful.
I would see a drop-down list that would allow the user to choose their agreement, write the agreement then change via the drop-down list to a new agreement.
I think it is possible by mutating all the notes which do not correspond to the chosen chord but how to make this possible from a list?
