Is the chorus not working ? NEVERMIND. I can hear it now.
we might need to flip the switch on that as UP is on , might need to be reversed ?
@ustk Should i Flip the Graphics for that switch ?Possibly add a small led to show that its on ?
I think the key click might be a tad too loud....not sure though.
Guess it would be smart to leave that for the beta test and see what a user would say , like my Hammond nerd friend. -
@lalalandsynth The chorus works, but it's a shy one (I tried a C2 like position)
It's barely noticeable when Leslie's full speed, otherwise it's ok.
One question though, it seems to remove a lot of the low end... Quid of the original? -
@ustk Yes , I can hear that , even the mid range is cut. pretty highpass...hmm.
Dont know how you make the chorus , phase cancellations ?
Is it vibrato on top of the original signal ?LOVE the rotary !
-
@lalalandsynth That's fixed, I just fine-tuned it, and it's radically another chorus now...
Sounds so much better than the previous one!
You can pull -
@ustk I get this. DOnt know how to stash ?
-
@lalalandsynth Forgot each time to remove them...
No worries, in your changes list, select these files and right-click/discard
Then you can pull -
@ustk ok did you give it a new name ?
-
@lalalandsynth nope, just close Hise before pulling, reopen and launch the same xml
-
@ustk Yes, that is radically different , much better !
-
Just noticed !!
Chorus knob need to be moved up a couple of pixels.
Please move to 709 on the Y axis. -
@lalalandsynth You can do it and push my man. My eyes are itchy, bedtime :)
Also, the whole thing is way too much on the right, no?
But honestly, the most important matter is fixing the perc buttons for now, so we can begin beta test and correct these things during that time ;) -
@ustk No the logo has yet to be placed so that will fix the apparent offset .
Yes, will fix the chorus button and push -
@lalalandsynth @ustk I'll be back later and read everything. Family time
-
@hisefilo Fixed the chorus switch and pushed.
-
@lalalandsynth @ustk @d-healey this is awesome!!!! I mean, we did a beautiful instrument. And remaining tweaks are just a few. Super super happy with it. I can tell this will be super appreciated by many many people :)
Tomorrow will do an Arturia/Logic/Collab comparison.... to see were we are. SO far I can tell I love how it feels (Maybe a more gritty/saturated upper register on leslie on) -
Minor thing, Preset window should probably only have presets and not bank or category.
And maybe upper right corner should say "Make music. #Stay home" ?
-
Small shadow fix on chorus button pushed.
Changed the mouse sensitivity on rotary switch , also changed to horizontal.EDIT: Fixed the rotary switch shadow
-
@lalalandsynth Used in a track the Leslie is very phasey ...not entirely sure if its supposed to sound like that , especially at slower speeds , the stereo image is quite phased. Null test or mono and the bottom end is gone.
Also , just with no chorus or Rotary ,it sounds stereo ? the keyclicks are panned , almost like its mic-ed like a piano.
Looks like there is some panning on the Clicknoise in the HISE project so, probably intentional but does not sound right.
-
@lalalandsynth said in Collaborative project!:

I agree, but "bank" is mandatory (you can have either 2 or 3 columns)
I'm on it...And maybe upper right corner should say "Make music. #Stay home" ?
Dave suggested #STAYHOME, MAKE MUSIC.
Also, just with no chorus or Rotary ,it sounds stereo ?
I think it was intentional, don't know if it's a good or thing though...
Changed the mouse sensitivity on rotary switch
I will do that for the Leslie switch too...
Null test or mono and the bottom end is gone.
I will make the low end more mono then...
-
"I will do that for the Leslie switch too..."
I meant for the Leslie switch :) So...done.
