@meyerkeys hmm, I compiled an au & vst plugin with my own sample maps and samples, and it runs without problems in Logic X Pro v.10.4.8
I'm on MacOS 10.14.6
Could it have something to do with your sample maps or samples maybe?

@ulrik I just tried in cubase as VST under High Sierra / latest LogicX, that works fine. It's Logic that causes the problem, also with just a sine wave generator (which uses no samples).
Steinberg doesn't ask for the xxx_Samples.hr1 file though?

I’ll be off for the weekend now but I will rebuild my samplemaps when I’m back and see what’s happening then. - although I don’t understand why it works as VST but not as AU.
What’s the difference then?
Maybe a wrong setting in Xcode?

@meyerkeys The only difference between your build and my build of your plugin is that I used my own samples and sample map as I can see it.
Oh, I should say that I'm running xcode Version 10.1 (10B61)

Hi guys,

back in the case now... I rebuilt my system with HISE 2.1, JUCE and Xcode 10.1 on Mojave now and it all works well so far. I cannot get MIDI in the Standalone version though - but I work with the Hise AU - version in LogicX now, that does it for me.

Still: VST does it well but the AU's that I build are just playing the first note, then no more sound. Controllers work, also GUI, but it does not accept MIDI notes apart of the first note I give in.
Also it doesn't ask for the .hr1 - file anymore.

@d-healey mentioned the samples are .ch.

Can somebody give more information about this?
Could be that the AU does not find the samples and only plays a buffered?

(I saved all sample maps and made them "Monolith";
did "Export Samples for Installer";
Collect external files into project folder)

Help highly appreciated as it seems I am so close to the goal. Thanks guys!

Still no MIDI in - Notes on the compiled AU Instrument while the VST version works. :exploding_head:

The documentation of building HISE is great, but I feel I missed something about the samples the built AUi is using, is there a special workflow that I missed besides make monolith, save sample maps, export samples for installer ? I got no errors with that.

Or is it an Xcode problem? Any Extensions missing?

Again and still, I would highly appreciate your help on this.
