      its wherever you installed HISE, so if you put the HISE-Master folder on your desktop it would be:

      C:/Users/Desktop//HISE-Master

      HISE Development for hire.
      www.channelrobot.com

        You have to set this in the project preferences.

          oke, i found the map. its the map that i created for my FX plugin, right? But now its giving me this '' the HISE path does not contain the HISE source code ''

              YES! it worked, thanks Healey! now i got a different problem. I just exported the file as a FX plugin but it came with a ''compilation error''

                  Is that all is says? It doesn't tell you what the path is?

                      @BigBlackMuzik I don't know what path it's looking for so I can't advise any further. Hopefully someone else has come across this and fixed it and will jump in with the answer.

                        Just hit the same "Hise path not set" in command prompt when attempting to compile on a Windows machine.

                        Did anybody work out how to resolve this?

                        I don't see any information about what specified path it's looking for....

                        Please help 😄

                          @LeeC first make sure your HISE is pointing at the correct code

                          File>Preferences>Development>Hise Path
