      @hisefilo My CPU (i7 3.5GHz) is normally at 1-1.3%
      When playing a note: 0.5% more
      A 7 notes chords: 3% more, so between 4 and 5%

      Can't help pressing F5 in the forum...

          Yep it seems to be quite low, but I never played with FM
          I just built up a synthesizer using only the generators of Hise (all subtractive), my CPU is rising to 20-30% with a heavy patch (2 OSC with multi voices, Noise, Sub, filters and some modulations here and there)

                I get 0.1% per voice (not keys) on my old Macbook which is about the same for everything else (samples, sine wave, etc), so nothin unusual high.

                  @Christoph-Hart thanks!!! for FM I should count modulator-carrier as 2 voices? times unisono voices? times pressed keys... right?

                        @hisefilo Sounds great, uses very low cpu ;)

                        Each note uses 1.0 % cpu (Intel i7 4710MQ 2.5 GHz - Windows 10).

                        It is normal for such a unison system, also very low...

                          @orange thanks mate. Yes. Faced more cpu than not unison units. (I use a lot of them, so it's important for me to understand cpu usage for every module)
