I’ve run into an error in Xcode again while trying to build the Release version. I’m not entirely sure what happened—I’m very new to this—but I’m trying not to get frustrated or give up. I would really appreciate your help; here is the image and the error code I received.

ERROR: xcode-select: error: tool 'xcodebuild' requires Xcode, but active developer directory '/Library/Developer/CommandLineTools' is a command line tools instance

You just need to run a command to tell the system where xcode is.

Make sure your xcode app is in /Applications (not the user folder, the system one). Then run the command

        sudo xcode-select -s /Applications/Xcode.app/Contents/Developer
