Mac compile woes again....
-
so... I went and bought a mac mini as Christoph suggested.
I installed IPP
I installed xcpretty
I built HISEI compiled a plug in (yeay!!)
BUT..... it never shows up. The compile runs correctly:
Compiling finished. Cleaning up...
logout
Saving session...
...copying shared history...
...saving history...truncating history files...
...completed.[Process completed]
But now I cant find where its put anything.
So I checked :
Macintosh HD/Library/Audio/Plug-ins/components ..its empty
Macintosh HD/Library/Audio/Plug-ins/VST .. its emptyMacintosh HD/System/Library/Audio .... theres no plug-ins folder
Macintosh HD/Users/lindon ..no library folder or even an audio folder...
Any one have ANY idea where HISE is putting my compiled plugin????
-
@Lindon /Users/lindon/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins
Library folder is hidden by default. Click on Finder's Go menu and press Alt (0ption) and Library will be shown.Another way is to open terminal and:
"cd /Users/lindon/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins" -
@Lindon oh no its that f..... show library flag again isnt it? ....
-
@hisefilo thanks mate I got there my self but you would have saved me anyway.. how do I set the library to ALWAYS show up?
-
@hisefilo mate have you any pointers as to where it might put the stand alone version?
