            @duma Maybe, it's been a while since i watched it. But did you use the git clone command in the terminal to download the source code?

                  @David-Healey I did this time but before when i first downloaded the new hise version I didnt know i wanna know how to remov the old file because i have a new hise and old hise apparently and the video doesnt explain how to remove the old hise one just how to update it

                      @David-Healey I deleted the previous folder for HISE 4.0 which I downloaded september last year yesterday or 2 days ago as instructed and exctracted the new one aswell there is no source code folder except a folder belonging to one of my vst which is just the project file
