HISE MIDI FX
-
@David-Healey before
-
@ulrik as I read here VST3 doesn't support MIDI FX at all.
-
@si1n3rd Good find, so let's stick with VSTi.
-
It's not working here. @ulrik Are you testing with one of the snippets posted or the project?
-
@David-Healey Yes, the snippet I posted
-
@ulrik Yes it works in Reaper here on Debian when compiled as a VSTi. Doesn't work in Ardour though.
-
@David-Healey my project or snippet?
-
@si1n3rd Both
-
@David-Healey well, it doesn't work on my side at all. I don't see it in FX Browser at all. That's strange.
-
@si1n3rd Did you try the plugin I sent?
-
@David-Healey yes, I did. I put it in my VST3 folder, and it doesn't show in REAPER at all.
-
@si1n3rd Did you rescan?
-
@David-Healey yes
-
@si1n3rd Did you remove your version of the plugin first?
-
@David-Healey of course
-
@si1n3rd What OS?
-
@David-Healey Debian 12
-
@si1n3rd I'm on testing, perhaps there is some incompatible library version. But I just took your project and compiled as a VST3i and it worked. How are you testing it when you compile it?
-
@David-Healey I put it in my VST3 folder, open REAPER, load it on the track, and then ReaSynth. Trying play with transpose on/off, but it doesn't change sound. At least with VST3i I have sound, with MIDI FX I don't have sound at all.
