      Hi, I'm trying to set up HISE on Mac, and when I try to compile I get this error:

      ▸ Compiling include_hi_tools_03.cpp

      ❌ fatal error: too many errors emitted, stopping now [-ferror-limit=]

      ▸ Compiling include_hi_tools_02.cpp
      ▸ Compiling include_hi_tools_01.cpp
      ▸ Compiling include_hi_snex_62.cpp
      ▸ Compiling include_hi_snex.mm
      ▸ Compiling include_hi_scripting_04.cpp
      ** BUILD FAILED **

      The following build commands failed:
      	CompileC /Users/carloslijo/Documents/HISE\ Projects/Pruebas/Binaries/Builds/MacOSX/build/Pruebas.build/Release/Pruebas\ -\ App.build/Objects-normal/x86_64/include_hi_tools_03.o /Users/carloslijo/Documents/HISE\ Projects/Pruebas/Binaries/JuceLibraryCode/include_hi_tools_03.cpp normal x86_64 c++ com.apple.compilers.llvm.clang.1_0.compiler (in target 'Pruebas - App' from project 'Pruebas')
      (1 failure)

      I guess it has something to do with this module include_hi_tools, but I don’t know how to fix it. My Mac is OS Sequoia 15.5, I’ve already installed Xcode and configured JUCE, and I’m not sure if it’s some missing configuration or if I might have changed something. Can someone help me?

        @lijas90 Have you compiled HISE?

          @d-healeyI guess to compile HISE I should do it from JUCE, right? When I open it from Xcode I get a ton of errors. Sorry for my ignorance.Captura de pantalla 2025-08-29 a las 0.02.33.png

            @lijas90 Self-promotion but you should take a look at my free HISE Bootcamp course, it covers all of this stuff:

            Link Preview Image
            HISE Bootcamp: No Coding Required – Audio Dev School

            A beginner-friendly course that teaches you how to build real, working audio plugins using HISE - without writing any code.

            It’s designed for musicians, sound designers, and audio creators who want to bring their plugin ideas to life without learning a programming language.

            The course is structured around two complete projects: first, you’ll build a custom sample library instrument, and then you’ll create a spatial audio effect plugin.

            Along the way, you’ll learn how to use HISE’s visual interface to import and map samples, design user interfaces, connect modulation sources, and export your finished plugins.

            Every lesson focuses on practical skills, and you’ll get access to guidance notes, cheat sheets, and supporting materials to help you stay on track.

            By the end of the course, you’ll have built two working plugins - and you’ll have the confidence to keep creating, no coding required. You’ll also receive a certificate of completion to showcase your skills.

              @d-healeyThank you very much for sharing it. I have already done everything exactly as shown in the compilation video for Mac (skipping the Faust part), but when I try to compile HISE with Debug configuration, I get all these errors. I’m using Xcode 15.5, which I think is the one I need according to my OS. Thank you very much.Captura de pantalla 2025-08-29 a las 1.28.05.png

                @lijas90Now I’m noticing that the most repeated error is: Use of undeclared identifier 'FaustTokeniser'; did you mean 'LuaTokeniser'? Maybe I should check if Faust is installed?

                  @lijas90 Did you clean the build before compiling?

                    With 'build clean', right? It cleans it, but not entirely, and when you recompile, the errors still appear.

                      @lijas90 I think it's in the "Product" menu in xcode, probably something like clean solution, I can't remember exactly.

                      But I suspect that isn't the issue. Can you make a video showing the exact steps you're doing?

                          @d-healeyOk, I think I know where the problem is. I hadn’t downloaded the Apple Silicon version of Xcode. I’m still having some issues but I’m making progress. Thanks, David!
