Mac Os Export confusion
-
@JamesC Yes all of that setup and ticked off etc and HISE compiled following instructions etc which is why I can't understand what's going on
-
@JamesC I've found the wizard works well on Windows, but not so much on other systems. Use one of the Export As options instead.
-
@d-healey Yes so I tried to do it that way also and exactly the same thing even if I clear the build folder and just run the AUi export I don't see any file produced anywhere
-
@JamesC Have you built HISE from source on your Mac?
-
@d-healey Yes I did and compiled ok perhaps its a case of attempting to clean everything off and re-compliling?

What is everything?

@d-healey just remove all aspects I installed. If its worth anything the vst3 it exports runs like a dream I ported it over to the windows machine to see what it would do and that's properly running etc

If you installed a prebuilt version of HISE you should remove that, and if you have more than one copy of the source code then you should remove them all and start over.
But if you just have one copy of the source you're good.

@d-healey thanks for advice will approach with fresh head and eyes tomorrow I think!
-
@JamesC So it seems in PROJUCER the mac message about paths that has come up a fair bit may have been in the issue, rather than pressing ignore as many of the froum posts suggested I manually pointed things to what it already said and was able to export an AU version this morning!
Thanks for advice yesterday
