Collaborative project!
-
Hi guys. Many of us (depending on the country you are in) are stuck at home.
I just came up with the idea of doing a free instrument collaboratively, to help spend time in isolation to musicians/fans/composers/etc, etc. And to launch it globally for free download.
I already have started a Hammond B3 emulation. Will publish the project if anyone want to join the team.
hammond try.wav (leslie FX is from GarageBand. big part of the timbre)Any other idea/instrument is cool also...
What do you think?Augusto

@hisefilo i'm in... gladly!
-
I could do gui stuff. Pngs though until i get a grip on vectors ;)
-
@hisefilo I'm in
-
Nice idea! I'd like to be in, even if I'm not very experienced in scripting
-
Awesome!!!!!! Let's do this
Hammond B3 Repo
https://github.com/augustofilocamo/hammondb3I'm pretty basic at git, if anyone have more experience feel free to change the repo
Project was created with Hise Scriptnode Branch (commit October 14, 2019)
I guess will work on any Scriptnode HiseAre you guys @alepan @Jay @lalalandsynth @musictop good to go with this instrument or want some other?
-
still open to anyone to join :)
-
@hisefilo Fine with me!
-
-
@lalalandsynth wow that's amazing. have no doubt UI wil rock!!!
the most challenging thing left is Leslie FX I guess.
-
I've worked on a scriptnode Leslie DSP a few month ago. Wasn't excellent but I might dusting it off a wee bit.
I can't promise it will be good enough... -
@ustk awesome! lets plug it in and see what happens.
want to do that via git?? otherwise share a snippet -
@hisefilo git is definitely the way to go ;)
But I need to check it first -
@ustk :)
-
-
@lalalandsynth yeah!!! knobman for drawers?? or you rendered every single frame?
-
@hisefilo All done in blender , can make it look really nice , just not wise to spend time on that yet :)
-
@lalalandsynth totally agree! Uploading a sound test in minutes. just compiled last commit
-
@hisefilo I have access to a real one if that would help ?
I could even sample it ? Maybe thats even more work ?
EDIT: come to think of it , sampling all the registers would be insane work , hehe*Also, is there any need to do upper and lower , or just keep it simple and only do upper ?

@lalalandsynth
Take a look. Just 35MB. no samples involved. just DSP and HISE
