Error at writing script file

A new thing I've seen in the last couple of days. Sometimes when I go to save my project XML I get this popup:

Clicking ok opens an empty folder called TempScriptDirectory

The files (whatever they are) aren't open anywhere else as far as I can tell.

@d-healey I had some troubles saving the XML recently too (but not this warning)
My XML was saving 2 or 3 levels above the current project folder.
I reckon that I had to delete the pref files in the the Application Data folder
