How to sync two LFOs?

Hi,
I need help figuring out how to keep two LFOs in sync with each other. LFO1 modulates stuff while LFO2 (in saw) is used to give out the "x pos" of LFO1. I do this so I can animate some graphics. The problem is they tend to fall out of sync.
Is there a way to send both LFOs a reset command, other than with a midi note and the "ignoreNoteOn" attribute?
Is there any other way to find out the "x pos" of an LFO through the API?
