Send Effect - Best practices

Hello Everyone,

I am trying to create a send effect where a drum signal from a container gets passed to a reverb. I looked in the HISE docs and there does not seem to be any mention of the "Send Effect".

I know some people have touched on send fx before but I just wanted to ask and see what is the best practice and how people are implementing the "send effect" effect?

You need to place your send container after (below) the place you want to send it to. In this case I'm placing the send container at the bottom of the module tree. Within the send container you can add the effects (Reverb in this example).

At the point you want to send the signal (the container in this example) you place a send effect. From the send effect's drop down you can choose the send container you want to send the signal to.

The gain knob controls the dry/wet mix.

The channel knob selects which stereo channel pair in the send container you want to route the signal to. If you only have a single send effect then this should be set to 0. If you have multiple effects in the send container you'll need to use the routing matrices for those effects to control the signal flow and select the matching channel number in your send effect.
