"Can't find script location - The variable definition can't be found"
-
Hello! I am just getting started with HISE and I came across a problem after compiling. If I place a component in the interface designer then double click its default name, I get a popup that reads "The variable definition can't be found" instead of the popup to rename the component ID.
Any ideas why this might be? I did not have this problem when running from the pre-built version of HISE.Mac OS Ventura 13.3
HISE Version 3.0.0 build 650
JUCE v6.1.4 (says update available)
Xcode 14.3 (14E222b)Edit: I reinstalled the pre-built version 3.0.3 and now that is throwing the error too. Perhaps the Mac OS update broke it. I'll try rolling back to see if the error goes away.

That's the correct behavior for double click. If you want to change the id you can do this in the property editor or by pressing F2

Woops! Thanks for the info. I guess I'm still getting used to everything while transitioning away from Kontakt.
