      I noticed that since I switched to an Alder lake cpu with its P and E cores that HISE seems a bit slower to open and compile scripts, and scriptnode is super laggy, for anything other than a simple patch it's unusable for me.

      I thought it might be something OS specific and investigated a few options, but now I'm wondering if it's related to this thread priority issue reported on the JUCE forum:

      This seems to be an issue that especially affects M1/M2 users. A fix has been proposed for AU plugins but nothing yet for VST3 or (crucially for HISE) standalone apps.
