Plugin keyboard shortcuts?

Is there a way to script custom keyboard shortcuts for compiled plugins?

Example: default hise plugins use shift + click on a slider to enter a value but is there a way to change that to say ctrl + click

Also in pro tools you can use Control+option+command+click to enable automation on parameters and I was wondering if it was possible to also some how script this in to compiled plugins
