Server API Gone
-
Hi!
Just got a new Mac running Monterey and tried to compile HISE with no luck. then I found the .pkg file on GitHub and tried that. Everything runs and I can load my project, although it seems that the server API is missing.Would really appreciate help with this!

@isowalle If you want the latest features you need to compile it yourself. The pre built versions are ancient and shouldn't be used.
-
@d-healey Do you have any tips in compiling on Monterey? I watched your video on Mojave which was great but it doesn't do the trick on Monterey...
-
@isowalle It's the same on so Mac OS versions. Are you on an M1 system?
-
@d-healey Yes, M1
-
@isowalle You'll need to disable IPP and remove any IPP paths in the .jucer file.
-
@d-healey Tried doing that but I get a ton of errors that "point" reference is ambiguous.
-
@isowalle You might need to change the architecture settings in the jucer file.
-
@d-healey Feels like I've tried everything. Tested every architecture option but none of them works.
-
@isowalle Can you do a screen recording of your process?
-

@d-healey I might be doing something really wrong, it's my first time building on a Mac so I don't really have any idea of what I'm doing.
I'm really grateful for all help :) -
You need to compile the develop branch.
