Scriptnode recorder question

Is it possible to use the recorder module in scriptnode and link the recorded material to an audio player note that plays back the recorded signal (while being processed with other fx)? The idea is to sort of simalute behaviors of hardware units like the Intellijel Rainmaker or the Monome Norns f.e.
