Start/Stopp Arp
-
@MikeB Clicking the bypass button on the arp produces silence. Haven't tried it with the audio loop player.
-
@d-healey Misunderstood
I want to switch the Arp on and off not mute the Arp via the bypass.
-
@MikeB So you press off and it goes silent, then you press play and the sounds starts again without you retriggering the note?
-
@d-healey I know the principle David. :-)
I would like to start the Arp not via a pressed note but via a button.
With a drum machine, you don't press notes but have a play/stop button.
-
I know the principle David.
I don't, that's why I'm asking so I can understand what you want :p
So the user presses a button, this triggers a note?

Not a note - but it starts the arp!
If that works -
@MikeB The arp is only triggered by MIDI notes, no?
-
@d-healey I don't know!
If that's the case, the button should trigger one or four midi notes (there are four arps).
How would that work? -
@MikeB Do you want all arps to start at the same time?
-
@d-healey Exactly
Kick, Snare, HiHat, Cymbals -
@MikeB And when you press the button again you get silence?
-
@d-healey I have a mute and solo button for each of them from your video - so you can mute them individually.
-
@d-healey yes all arps stops
-
There is an 'enable' parameter ID, it switches on/off the arpeggiator.

@musictop That's the bypass button
-
@MikeB So what you need is a button that plays a midi note, and then stops it when you press it again.
-
@musictop said in Start/Stopp Arp:
Thank you but - I don't want to switch off the arp but start it, make it run, set it in motion with one button
-
@d-healey If that is the only way, then yes
-
is the only way,
Don't know if it's the only way, but it will give the results you've described, but might still not be what you want...
-
@d-healey
And how do I do that?
Is there a description somewhere?
