Install Samples and .hr1

Is it normal for the .hr1 file to be 1 KB in size?
I compile my VST Instrument but when I finish installing the samples, my Instrument does not sound. -

Only if you have very tiny samples :p Generally that's not a normal size but I won't hold it against you.
-
Thanks, do you have any idea why my vst doesn't sound after installing the samples from that .hr1?
-
@Felipe-Flores Probably because your .hr file isn't correct, I'm assuming it shouldn't be 1kb. What size is the extracted ch file?
-
So maybe I am compiling it the wrong way, because after compiling, I export samples for installer and at the end I only have the .dll file and the .hr1 file. Should I do something else?
-
@Felipe-Flores When you run your plugin it should ask you to locate the hr file, when you do that it will extract the samples from the hr.
The hr files is an archive, like a zip file, it is a container for the samples, it's not the samples themselves.

I still can not get my instrument to sound, I have compiled several times but it still does not sound, I tried on another computer and it has the same problem, I think my error is in the export configuration but I can not determine where exactly.
-
@Felipe-Flores When you run your plugin does it ask you to locate the hr file? And if so, once you locate the file does it extract the .ch files?
-
Yes, it does all that process successfully, but then the instrument does not sound. One question, should I convert all Samplemaps to Monoliths?
-
@Felipe-Flores said in Install Samples and .hr1:

Yes. And all of the samples should be in the project's Samples folder.

I did a small test with another project and it worked. Now my problem is that I can't scan from scratch again the previous VST instrument to install the samples, I use Reaper, I pressed "Clear Plugins Cache" but it doesn't show the dialog to install samples anymore.
-
@Felipe-Flores You need to delete the link file which will be in your appData folder.

Thank you very much it worked perfectly. My instrument is already playing
