Enable/Disable Slider without darken Filmstrip?

Hi!
I have filmstrip on Slider , some time I don't want my knob to change brightness when Disabled.
How can it be done to bypass that option?

I did this a year back or so by dropping a panel over it to make it inaccessible with the .showControl option.

@Dalart I should do that too, but also I thought maybe HiSE have some option to bypass , Maybe....
