How does restarting your computer affect hise?

I have recently been having some trouble with hise not wanting to open. However, I've noticed that when I restart my computer and then open hise, it opens and runs fine. Are there any things that hise does when you restart your computer that would make this happen?

@TNTHM Not unless you've told it to. Sounds like a process isn't closing when you close HISE and that's preventing it restarting. What OS? What HISE version?

@d-healey 10.14.6 and version 2.1 of hise (downloaded and compiled October 21, 2019). Is my best bet to compile the latest version of hise in your opinion?
