@d-healey I get the same CPU charge in Hise, but it looks good once compiled…
That's weird, I get a higher CPU charge than @hisefilo with an i7 3.4. And I'm sure not to use the debug version
In Hise, one note gives 8-10%, in Ableton, idle is 4%, then 1% per note played
Still, the project is a beast to load, it might be possible to lighten the code once we're good with the rest…@hisefilo The about page is cool, I like that! :)
@lalalandsynth A simple reverb why not! ;)
As for the name, another idea could be CollaB3, but BFree is probably better
We need not to forget the license in the about section
The Rotary speaker still have some glitches when changing speed, but this might be fixed later with Hise3, I'll check that anyway because I don't like the workaround I've made…

@lalalandsynth @hisefilo Just came accross a plugin called setBfree online...
-
@ustk nice catch!!!
I guess CollaB3 then?also will do this on perc:
Harmonic Percussion retriggers only after all notes have been released, so legato passages sound the effect only on the very first note or chord, making Harmonic Percussion uniquely a "single-trigger", or monophonic effect.

@lalalandsynth just didn't like it. Sounds like Free and that's cheap in my mind

@hisefilo Agreed about the name, can you remake the logo with that name ?

Badabing.

Cool guys
On my side, I just committed a fix for the aliasing that was still present. The drawback is that the CPU has risen again -
@ustk pulled!!!!! looks good, no glitches here!
will compile to see CPU at runtime
-
@hisefilo Me too so we can compare ;)

iMac late 2013 vs Macbook Pro mid 2019 battle!!!!!! :P
-
@hisefilo
Ok so I get 12% at idle then about 0.8% per note -
@ustk I get 1% idle. 0.05% per note......... weird
-
@ustk this is Cmaj7 (4 notes)
-
@hisefilo Yep strange it is... Do you have Ableton by any chance?
-
@ustk yes. will try
-
@hisefilo It is reaper you're using right?
-
@ustk yes Reaper.... mmmm need to compile .vst to Ableton. will do
