Sample looping software for macOS
-
Hi all,
I'm searching for the most efficient way to embed loop points into samples on macOS. Are there any good programs (ideally free or relatively inexpensive) that are good for this task?
I'm thinking of trying to compile Loop Auditioneer for macOS however I want to see what is currently available before diving into that process. If anyone has already done this, it would be much appreciated if they could share their version!

I use loop auditioneer. You can embed loop points in Reaper but you have to find the loops manually. There is also endlesswav but I think it's only on Windows.

Hello! Very late to this discussion but thought I'd share.
I just discovered AudioFinder and it seems to be a great solution for Mac users. You can set loop start and end points, snap to zero crossings, batch export as AIFF, trim start points, end points, etc. Really really handy tool.

It's an old topic, but seems worthwhile to gather this stuff in a thread.

with WINE on a Mac worksWine is pretty simple to use:

I also have an update for this. My team switched to SampleRobot for looping samples and it's absolutely incredible. A thousand times better than anything else on the market.

You could try compiling it for Mac.

@Lunacy-Audio Thanks for that recommendation. It seems like a really really nice solution for when you first sample, but for adapting existing samples, it doesn't seem ideal.

@pnyboer Hello, just a small info: Endless WAV is now available for Mac.
