Design advice

What should I go with here, the dark or the light version, or maybe none of them? :)
Any comment will be appreciated! -
@ulrik Both are looking very cool man! I personally prefer the darker one, it has more texture... Although I would make the windows and left menu standing a bit more. I fact I (personally again) don't really like the transparency of the buttons and menus in the dark mode, where we can see the texture through... But it's a minor point anyway! Congrats man!

@ustk thank you for your input, I really appreciate it! :)

Why not both? have a setting for the user to choose the theme they like.
-
@d-healey Haha...is it possible, with bitmaps? :)
-
@d-healey Ok, I can see that it is possible, not so much scripting, good idea I will consider it, thanks!
-
@d-healey Now that I think of it, it will indeed be a lot of scripting...puh, all labels, bitmaps and stuff..hmm...
-
@ulrik It depends on how you have scripted everything so far. I made a themed GUI a couple of years ago and I just created a separate file that stored the theme data in objects and all the GUI controlled pulled the colours/fonts/images from the selected object.
-
@d-healey Ok, that seems like a handy way to do it, however I have not organised it like that in this project, maybe I will get it organised in a better way later for my own sake :)
Thank you, I will check your example. -
@d-healey I've started a little bit :) Not ready but on my way
