Interesting that they are releasing a very similar product, i suspect with much higher licence fees though -
It looks similar to a few other sampler/instrument engines but it doesn't appear to have the brilliant tree structure of HISE and more importantly it doesn't have a power scripting engine like HISE - although it does have scripting for the UI.

Looks like the new version of Halion that's coming out is going to have scripting - I remember for version 5 the fact that "you didn't need to script" was considered a feature :p Also it's going to have some kind of VST export...

A few people think this is just a service being offered that is using HISE.
