Cant get Multichannel Plugins to work in OBS

Hello, first time posting. First off, as someone who is an DSP architect but dosent handle a lot of code at my day job, HISE is awesome to poke at.
In Max MSP I developed a couple standalone apps for upmixing stereo content. I Want to make a vst version so people can load it into OBS directly instead of using voice meter or VBcable.
Ive run into an issue where loading the plugin into OBS using the ATKaudio OBS plugin (for VST3 support), it wont show more than 2 channels with something compiled with HISE. If I load a waves or something elce VST it will show the extra channels upto 7.1 as routing options.

(image shows only a Left Right patching option for going in and out of the VST)howeaver, If i load the HISE vst into reaper the channels are there and they do work.
Anyone know if there's something unique that needs to happen for it to show the 6 channels in OBS?
- compiled using the most recent plugin version of hise using multichannel release in juicer set to 6ch
- Extra definitions in plugin itself: HISE_NUM_FX_PLUGIN_CHANNELS=6
