      Hi
I really enjoy having started with HISE. As a +20 Graphic design professional, phograper and musician this is new territory in so many ways. It is something totally different. Fortunately I have great experience in learning (curves – and a big patience.

Yes I struggle figuring out how to (and sorry for the untechnical lingo here) "connect" Scriptnodes and the module tree.

Ex. I have created a Korg35 filter with Faust, A hardcoded OB8 filter based on some old C++ code and also fiddled around with envelopes and modulators in Scriprnode. Common to these (obviously) is that none of them expose any visual controls or "mod source +" in the module tree. This perhaps makes totally sense to the trained eye, but to me it appears to be cumbersome to create ex an envelope for the filter inside of Scriptnode.

I've tried recompiling HISE with extra mod controls - but this only applies to Hardcoded Master FX and not Polyphonic (and I still have to figure out how to assign paramaters to the controls (1-6)Screenshot 2026-01-17 at 16.03.28.png

      How can I connect these?

Thanks you in advance for someone explaining og linking to documentation on this – I've really spent hours searching.
