      Can I safely use Goldentine vst (Plugin by Safwan Matny) to create multisamples for a GPL3 virtual musical instrument if I have written permission (email) from the creator of Goldentine vst?

      (I specifically asked for permission to make an opensource virtual musical instrument and I got permission)

      Can I publish the multisamples I made and modified from Goldentine vst ?

        @Robert-Puza The GPL doesn't apply to samples, you need a different license for those. But as long as you have permission from the copyright holder you can use any samples you wish to create a GPL HISE project.

          @d-healey Great. Thank you. So the samples license work differently.

          And this sound source ? (samples)
          Can we use these samples to make a GPL3 virtual instrument with Hise and show this sound source without communication due to permission?

            Yes, those are public domain so you can do what you like with them.

              @d-healey 🙏🌍🌞

              I am beginning to understand that if I am able to ask a correct and understandable question, I will get a clear answer. Thank you
