        @antarmata_02 Ok, go to the appdata folder, and delete the LinkOSX file, now the next time you open the plugin you'll be prompted for the hr1 file again.

              the standalone plugin still can't opened.

              This warning keeps repeating, even though I've reloaded the sample

                @antarmata_02 Are the ch files in the location you selected (Sample Folder)? Does the contents of the LinkOSX file match too?

                    @antarmata_02 Should I restore that file? Or is there another place where I can find it, except in the sample folder?

                      @antarmata_02 When you extract the samples from the hr file the LinkOSX will be recreated. Open the LinkOSX in a text editor and check that it contains the path to the folder where you have installed the samples. Also check that the folder you have installed the samples to does indeed contain the ch files after extraction.

                        I've re-extracted the sample from the .hr file, but the LinkOSX file does not appear, whether I miss something?

                          After extraction, is the ch1 file in the location you selected in the extraction window?

                            YES, the ch1 file appeared according to where I extracted the hr1.

                            does it affect me when I move the project and hise-develope folders to a new folder?

                              Possibly, hard to say without knowing the details of your setup.

                                @d-healey hmm

                                maybe I have to rebuild everything from zero ;(
                                what is your recommendation: HISE-develop or HISE-4.0.0. ?

                                  @antarmata_02 Always develop. Upload your project somewhere and send me a link and I'll take a look. I suspect the issue is in the documentation rather than with your setup.
