    How does the sampler's normalization setting work?

      I have two samples, both with the normalization button enabled, but the waveform view shows them with different max peaks. Shouldn't they be more similar? The second one doesn't seem to hit the max at any point.

        Aha! I did a dumb. I'd set the volume of that second sample to -3dB for some reason.
