I have finally created main outout meter that works regardless of what channels individual samplers are routed to. I used 'getSourceGainValue' from the routing matrix and iterated through each connection.

However, I noticed that the routing matrix meters fall way too slowly to my liking and are, therefore, replicated by my GUI meter.

Is there a way to adjust the fall rate of the built-in routing matrix meters?

@gorangrooves Are you using a peak meter floating tile? You can change the up/down decay times there

@d-healey Thanks, Dave. So, that is an interesting hack!

I added that floating tile, set the ID of the main synth, and hid the floating tile. My regular main meter is now moving at the rate of the floating tile one! What a weird fix.

Is that what you had in mind?

@d-healey Looking at the matrix output, it moves at the rate set by the floating tile.
So, I guess the setting I was looking for was hidden in a weird place :beaming_face_with_smiling_eyes:

              Thank you for the tip!
