I'm New and need help!
-
Hey guys, I've just started using HISE. I've sorted my Samples, however for some odd reason it does not let me create any components for the Interface. I've tried right click and everything and nothing happens. Don't know what to do. Thank you in advance.
For more context - I've added script processor under the master container > midi processor and added the code: Content.makeFrontInterface(650, 650);
Then clicked compile and all ok but can't then right click to add a panel and start designing the UI.

Click the pencil icon at the top of the interface designer (or press F4) to enable editing.

You shouldn't need to do this. When you create a new project the interface script is added by default.

@JohnsonBaby Create a new preset: File > New. And try the default interface script.

Still does not work :/ Would the only option be to re-install HISE?

I don't see how that would help. I remember someone mentioned something sometime about certain Macs not having a right-click and you have to hold ctrl or cmd and click, or do a two finger tap - something strange...

@JohnsonBaby In "normal" operations, the module pencil at the far left shouldn't be activated, but it shouldn't make any difference for your issue…
Try to add a component from script, copy/paste this and hit F5const var button = Content.addButton("button", 200, 200);
Can you right-click the button that appeared?
Can you move it?To activate/deactivate the edit mode in the interface, use F4
