Toolbar
-
Hi there, I'm a super newbie to this stuff, just trying to figure it out, and have two questions:
-
I don't seem to get a toolbar in the interface editor
-
When I try to compile I get an error saying that "the project cannot be parsed"
Thanks in advance, Levi.

First I got the "the project can not be parsed" error, but now that I tried making a new project I keep getting "xcpretty command not found"
I understand if nobody really has time for my newbie questions but any help would be greatly appreciated.

@ltearr Hi!
I am also a newbie but the xcpretty I have encountered, if I remember right it's a lib that you have to have installed, I don't remember exactly but try make a search in the forum, there is a thread somewhere regarding this subject -
Here is one thread

@ulrik Thanks!!

Well, that one piece of advice went a long way, so after installing all sorts of stuff I now try to export a vst and the terminal says that the build succeeded, but now I cannot find the plugin, according to the tutorial it should be saved in the folder binaries/compiled, but in the binaries folder is no such folder....
Also, I still have no idea how to access the Toolbar in the interface designer, I'm on Mac.
Thanks again!

Well, I have successfully exported a standalone app, hooray! But the problem remains when I try to export a vst.

Ok, so I've found the vst file and it works, so I've made my first plugin, just a sine wave without an interface, hahaha, but it works, sorry for the super basic questions, but I realise now that the tutorial is outdated, it would be great to have an up-to-date tutorial.
